ABOUT

Welcome to tactile therapy - a little haven on the North Shore that offers incredibly relaxing reflexology experiences. The only treatments we offer are special treatments, based on Eunice Ingham's techniques (who's that? more another time...)

We're open Sunday mornings - because we believe they're for relaxing - as well as Monday/Tuesday late afternoons and early evenings. This Easter, we'll be open as usual on Sunday, and will have special hours on Easter Monday - we don't often have daytime appointments during the week so you'll need to hop to it and book in fast!

Take care and see you soon,

Natasha | resident reflexologist and tactile therapist

PS. gift vouchers are now available so you can spoil, thank, and celebrate someone special - it would be our treat to look after them for you.

THE EXPERIENCE

incredibly relaxing foot reflexology

60 min - $110

before...

Enter the room and let us take your coat and bag for you, while you sit down on our upholstered footstool to take off your shoes and stow them away on the shelf below.

Walk over to our recliner, hop on and get comfortable. We'll ask you a few questions about how you've been, before wrapping your feet in warm (not in summer!), steamed towels. Now the magic begins.

during...

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths as we get started with your reflexology treatment. An all natural balm will be applied to your feet and lower legs, and a short sequence of strokes and other movements will help warm the balm and unwind tight muscles. Gentle Western reflexology techniques are used over your feet and ankles, quite literally soothing your soles and helping to support your body's rest and digest responses.

after...

The soft vibrations of a Tibetan singing bowl signals the end of your treatment. Slowly open your eyes and let us know how you're feeling. We'll then help you float out of our room to our reception area, where you can have some water or tea and get ready to face the world again.

FEEDBACK

super relaxing...

'I must say I have been so impressed with reflexology. It's super relaxing and Natasha is an excellent therapist. I sleep sooo well after a session and I'm quite amazed at how our bodies, aches and pains are reflected in our wee tootsies. I recommend you give it a go!'

INTRODUCING NATASHA

Hi, I'm Natasha, owner and practitioner at tactile therapy. I'm a keen traveller, eater of all the yummy things, and owner of way too much dri-fit.

In 2014 I had my very first reflexology treatment. I floated away from that session feeling relaxed and content and remember thinking what a nice thing it was that my reflexologist was doing for people.

It took until 2018 to realise that I'd love to help others feel the same sense of care via such a gentle therapy, and I've been studying and practicing reflexology ever since.

These days I practice in a space in Mairangi Bay that I hope you'll look forward to visiting, and that you'll leave feeling the same way I did when I first tried reflexology. Till then, feel free to explore this site and do get in touch if you have any further questions.

Warm regards,

Natasha | proud owner and fully qualified reflexologist
